As the Surfing America season comes into full swing so do the great conditions for the events. This weekend saw the girls take to the water on both Saturday and Sunday at the world famous Huntington Beach, California in the Under 16s and Under 18s divisions.

The girls worked the 3 foot conditions at the HB Bowl to leverage some great skills and high point scores over the weekend. Typically, Huntington Beach can be tricky with it’s fast moving banks but they provided a number of sections with both rights and lefts on offer.

East Coast girl Rachel Presti made the trip West to take on some of the country’s best super groms and didn’t disappoint where her quick thinking and moves in the water, unfortunately she didn’t make the final but made herself well known in the line up with some epic moves.

Alyssa Spencer was on fire and took out 2 divisions saying “I’m super stoked to t win today at the HB Pier. Congratulations to everyone who made it to the finals, everyone was ripping.”

In the 18s it was an all star cast in the finals but Tia Blanco’s professional snaps and carves kept her on top of the judges mind.

Great effort by Samantha Sibley who just turned 13 last week in her massive results in both divisions and finishing with a podium 3rd in both.
