ROXY Run SUP Yoga is Coming To Manly Beach

Olympic Gold Medallist and ROXY team rider Torah Bright, will be leading the festivities and guiding participants through all three activities, along with professional surfer and fellow ROXY team rider Rosy Hodge.

The ROXY #RUNSUPYOGA concept is geared towards participation, friendship and fun for women of all backgrounds and fitness levels, everything The Mermaid Society is about!  This is the ultimate girls’ fun fitness day and we’ll be there!

The morning will kick off with some serious sun salutations during a glorious morning yoga class right on Manly Beach, guided by ROXY yoga guru Crystal O’Rourke. Once you have warmed up with your best downward dog, dust the sand off your toes and get ready to join in a 3KM fun run along the Manly beach.

After a fun sand run, participants can decompress and stretch out their muscles at the rebel warm-down zone – just what those muscles will need to get ready for the next leg. From the sand to the sea, girls can cool off in their final leg during the 1KM stand-up paddle (SUP) race. The stand-up paddle race will be followed by ‘learn to SUP lessons’ run by Naish, from 12.30pm – 4.30pm for those who want to brush up on their SUP skills.

Everyone will get their own ROXY #RUNSUPYOGA pack to take home, including a Running BIB, Cap, Bag, Rashie, Yoga towel, and a light breakfast supplied by Blue Dinosaur Paleo Bars and Organic Avenue Australia, as well as sunscreen protection by Ella Baché.

THERE WILL BE PRIZES TOO! Prizes will be awarded on the day for best dressed – everyone is encouraged to wear their brightest colours on the big day. The brighter the better! Australia will be the 13th stop of the ROXY #RUNSUPYOGA international tour that began in Barcelona Spain, and has spanned to Hawaii, Germany, Belgium, France, England, Canada, USA and Bali! With more stops planned around the globe, ROXY will continue to encourage women to get fit and have fun, all around the world.
