11th September 2015 – Perfect conditions have rolled into Lower Trestles in Southern California for the Swatch Girls Pro this week. The girls have been so lucky to score amazing waves, predominantly rights that have opened right up and given them ample opportunity to display to the world their best, next level surfing.

With a number of near perfect scores over the first 2 rounds it was great watching the girls move around the continual World Title race positioning.

Today, in Round 2, the first group of girls were eliminated unfortunately that included event highlight Bethany Hamilton who was defeated by an inform Bianca Buitendag. A solid effort and huge inspiration to everyone with her performance, Bethany Hamilton did not disappoint with incredible manoeuvres and skill for a woman who’s only just had a baby.

It was also great to see 14 year old, Californian local Caroline Marks take on Tyler Wright in round 2 but sadly for Caroline, Tyler was at her very best today and that is a dynamic surf style that really is unmatchable. Caroline surfed well beyond her age and really impressed the world with her natural ability and competitive edge. Great to see her in the event.

Here are the round 3 match ups, should be a good one.
