Belinda Baggs

PODCAST: Belinda Baggs Is Making The Change You Wish To See

Belinda Baggs is a mother, water woman in every sense, a conservationist and ambassador for Patagonia. She’s one of those people who is so in tune with life and the ocean, you can’t help but be drawn to her. At the end of 2017, she went on a trip to the Great Barrier Reef, one of the seven wonders of the world, that is critically endangered from being totally annihilated by climate change. The situation is so dire that our children may never get the opportunity to see it in bloom, it will merely be a mass of grey sharp ocean.

However, there are steps we can take as individuals and communities, like educating our children and treading lighter. We spoke to Belinda about how motherhood, conservation and her work combine as well as her innate ability to take to the water on any craft and adapt to find a perfect harmony with the waves.
