A crazy week of onshore conditions in the Azores, Portugal for the girls competing in the European Junior Surfing Titles run by the European Surfing Federation. The girls pulled out everything they had to make the Junior Championships

Britain’s surfing golden girl for 2014 brought home the gold with 13.16 total final score in the under 18’s division in the girls shortboard defeating Ariane Ochoa, Tessa Thyssen and Teresa Bonvalot.

Keshia said after her win…”It was super fun the waves were really fun, clean and wally I was so happy when we got to the beach that morning, and was really nervous for the heat because anything could have happened and the girls in the final all surf well so I was really nervous. I got both my scores in the first 5/10 minutes and as soon as I got them I just wanted the heat to end it was honestly the longest 15 minutes of my life. I’m still smiling so much I cant believe I won.”
