Coco Ho Pantin Pro 2017

Coco Ho Wins In Spain

It’s been an excellent couple of weeks in Europe for Hawaii’s Coco Ho taking her second Qualifying Series event win in as many weeks.

The waves didn’t really come to the party for finals day at the Pull&Bear Pantin Classic Galicia Pro but that didn’t stop huge crowds enjoying the show on the iconic Pantin headland.

The USA’s 15-year-old surf prodigy Caroline Marks made it to the final against Ho and made her presence felt early on locking in a 6.17. Ho hit back on her backhand to put Marks into a combo situation with a 8.83 and 7.67 to give her the lead and take the win.

“It’s been amazing to be back in Pantin, I can never believe how beautiful this place is,” Coco Ho said. “The waves have been really fun this week, and I’m stoked it’s my third time back and I finally got a good result! From the water it was insane to see so many people, so thank’s everyone for coming to support us.”

For Caroline, this has been a significant event and result keeping her in hot contention for a place in the 2018 World Championship Tour.
