Coco Ho Wins Los Cabos Open of Surf
After Australian’s Laura Enever and Dimity Stoyle were defeated in the semi finals, Hawaiian Coco Ho took to the water with Brianna Cope also of Hawaii defeating her 17.10 to 11.16 with two 8 point scores and some radicle powerful turns that were consistently seen from her throughout the whole event. Coco has been building steady momentum this year on the WCT and WQS and it’s great to see her post a win in Mexico.
“I was definitely on the harder side of the draw, but it was great to surf against Silvana (Lima) and Dimity (Stoyle) after her cracker of a heat,” Ho said. “The waves are so fun. It’s like a toned down Lowers (Trestles) and it’s non-stop waves.” (aspworldtour.com)
The next events for the girls are the US Open of Surfing (WCT) at the end of July and the Super Girl Pro (WQS) in California in August.
