2017 Summer Wetsuit Guide – Rip Curl
Rip Curl supports some of the world’s best surf athletes, and their wetsuits and gear is the goods. The company is based out of Torquay, just a stone’s throw from the iconic Bells Beach and some of the most incredible surf breaks. It’s the perfect testing ground for good, durable gear. We’re stoked to have them in the guide. They have also provided a chlorine resistant girls suit that we’re in love with.
TARNEA SAID: The zip on this Rip Curl suit is small enough to not feel like its actually a front zip on your chest. The cut is really cute for all surfers. I really love the bikini bottoms with some lining. Due to the lightness of the suit it is very flexible and I would wear this one all day without the worry of a paddle rash. It felt a bit different compared to the other wetsuits, Rip Curl just has that extra comfort in my books. The look compliments the female figure with some fun colours. It wasn’t baggy at all and snugged the body like a glove. The best thing would be that you could happily wear this in all water sports activities. Super comfortable, sun protection, flexible and light. Perfect for summer and spring. * Rip Curl wetsuits use E4 neoprene. It’s been designed with E-stitch high stretch seams for ultimate flexibility
RAE SAID: I love this cozzie. It’s cool coz I don’t have to wear a rashie.
RAE’S MUM SAID: Best thing ever that it is chlorine resistant. It’s so hard to find a great kids suit that won’t perish between the beach and the pool but also be soft. The fabric was surprisingly soft. The colours are so beautiful. Loving that the all-in-one surf suits are in, makes it so easy to get on and off the kids.
* This suit is made from durable poly-elastane, cut to a snug performance fit. Comes in blue and pink. Available in sizes 0-6
