In 2015  there was a higher level of surfing than ever by the girls of the USA. Each girl who made it to compete at the NSSA National Championships qualified through their regional competitions throughout the year.

Girls came from the East coast, West Coast and Hawaii to compete at Huntington Beach, home of the US Open of Surf to be held in just a couple of weeks.

There was one girls who dominated all divisions and that was Caroline Marks, who had a truly inspiring winning streak going throughout the 3 week period of the Surfing America National Finals, Volcom TCT Global Finals and the NSSA event. Caroline has taken home a swagger of trophies and championship wins in this time and didn’t stop when it came to her NSSA Open and Explorer divisions winning the Explorer Girls, the Open Women’s and the Open Girls titles for 2015.

Mason Schremmer from Hawaii also maintained a high-level of athleticism and surf ability winning both the Explorer Women longboard and SUP divisions on top of her Surfing America 2nd place.

Moana Jones also stood her ground to defeat a tough final and a tie break against Maddie Peterson-Wildwood to take the Explorer Women’s title.
