It’s great to see the Japanese girls giving the amazing sport a go and being part of a movement of uprising for bodyboarding. The wave were a fun 3-4 foot for the main event as part of the Women’s World Tour. All the girls did some amazing bodyboarding proving that Japan has a strong field for international contention.

In the final it came down to Sari Ohara in red and Nao Nagai in White who battled it out. Sari made it to the final after making it through the Repercharge rounds to win the final agains Nao.

Sari said after her win, “This was my first win in APB World Tour and is my best day ever! Thank you for coming to Japan APB Tour, Craig Hadden and Neymara Carvalho and thanks for all your support!”
